Mike & Emma's Wedding, September 2017

Emma and Michael live in Kitsilano and work in film and music respectively. They love travel, food, and have been meaning to get into tennis for the last several years. They knew they wanted to plan a wedding that matched their personalities and would provide guests with a memorable Vancouver experience. 
 
When the time came to search for a wedding venue they took one look at Vancouver Rowing Club and made a decision on the spot. They knew that family and friends would be traveling from overseas, as well as across the country, and VRC presented a picturesque Vancouver scene. With views of Stanley Park, the harbour, and the city skyline it felt perfect. Having the ceremony and reception in a singular location was import to them and VRC's layout made it so easy to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the deck overlooking the park before moving to the waterside deck for cocktails and on to the main room for dinner and dancing. Courtney and the staff at the VRC were so helpful throughout the year, and helped execute the day flawlessly. They don't plan to ever get married again, but if we did they'd definitely go back to VRC.
