Grab your favourite sailing partner and join us for one of the most entertaining races of the season! The
Ken & Barbie Race is a fun-filled day of double-handed racing in English Bay where crews are encouraged to embrace the theme and dress the part. Don't have a Barbie or Ken costume? No problem—just make sure one crew member appears as Ken and the other as Barbie, then get ready for a day of great sailing, plenty of laughs, and a little friendly competition. Whether you're racing to win or simply out for the fun, it's an event you won't want to miss on
Saturday, August 22.

The 2026 VRC Summer Regatta was an incredible weekend of great racing, friendly competition, and outstanding camaraderie on and off the water. We were thrilled to welcome sailors from across the region to Vancouver Rowing Club and are grateful to every competitor, volunteer, race official, sponsor, and supporter who helped make the event such a success. From the first start to the final awards presentation, the energy and sportsmanship on display were a true reflection of our sailing community.
