PARA / ADAPTIVE ROWING

Vancouver Rowing Club (VRC) is one of Canada's leading rowing clubs for para/adaptive rowing possibilities.  We strive to provide recreational and competetive rowing opportunities to anyone who wants to be out on the water rowing!  The health benefits of rowing are many, and in addition, VRC offers a thriving social component to all those involved in the club.   Rowing programs are available for A5 (arms & shoulders), TA (trunk & arms) and LTA (legs, trunk & arms) athletes. 

For those who have never rowed before, your first step will be to set up an orientation with the Para Rowing Coach, followed by completion of a Learn-To-Row program.   Additional information can be found in the Learn-To-Row section of thise website under Para/Adaptive Rowing. 

If you have rowed before and were keen to jump into the program, please contact the Para Rowing coach at pararowing@vancouverrowingclub.ca for current information on practice times etc.
