PARA / ADAPTIVE ROWING

Vancouver Rowing Club (VRC) is one of Canada's leading rowing clubs for para/adaptive rowing possibilities. We strive to provide recreational and competitive rowing opportunities to anyone who wants to be out on the water rowing! The health benefirts of rowing are many, and in addition, VRC offers a thriving social component to all those involved in the club. Rowing programs are available for AS (arms and shoulders), TA (trunk and arms) and LTA (legs, trunk and arms) athletes.

For those who have never rowed before, your first step will be to set up an orientation with the Para Rowing Coach, followed by completion of a Learn-to-Row program. Additional information can be found in the Learn to Row section of this website under Para/Adaptive Rowing.

If you have rowed before, and are keen to jump into the program, please contact the Para Rowing Coach at row@vancouverrowingclub.ca for current information on practice times etc.
