TOURNAMENTS

CANADA VS REST OF THE WORLD

This annual Jokers tournament sees the Canadians defend their field hockey honour against a team of Jokers from around the world.

THE VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

The first Vancouver International Tournament (known as the VIT) was held in 1995 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of field hockey in Vancouver. The VIT is an FHBC tournament held at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex during the Victoria Day long weekend in May. Traditionally, the Jokers host the beer garden and always have the most fun of all the teams.

VRC INTERSECTIONAL REGATTA

The Intersectional Regatta (hosed by the Rowing Section) gives Jokers a chance to test our skills on the water instead of on the field, as we compete against Yachting, Rugby and the Staff in an eight man sweep race.

THE ORCA FESTIVAL

A weekend of hockey hosted by West Vancouver Field Hockey Club. Jokers enter a team or two into this fun festival. This year it's back at Hugo Ray for a mixed 7-aside social tournament.

GOLDEN OLDIES

The Golden Oldies Fesivals are held every two years in a different country. Jokers International has a long history with the tournament, as can be seen on our Touring page.
